WJUC 107.3 to be featured in the 2014 African American Festival
Toledo’s number one urban radio station, the Juice FM 107.3 WJUC, will be featured at this year’s African American Festival to be held at The University of Toledo Scott Park Campus. The event will begin tomorrow (Saturday, July 19, 2014) and will feature national acts and local features including the Juice’s very own DJ’s live on the scene.

10th Annual African American Festival July 18-20,2014
For the past Ten years Toledo Urban Federal Credit Union has hosted the African American Festival, “Celebrating our History, Health and Education”. This is a weekend long family event that starts with a Prayer Breakfast, where local pastors and members of the community come together for prayer and fellowship. The official kickoff to the festival is a parade which receives great participation from various individuals, groups, organizations and businesses throughout the city. The festival offers two days of entertainment including national recording artists, local talent, vendors, rides and activities for the kids, along with health information and screenings. It is truly a family affair.
The festival has been held on the beautiful grounds of the University of Toledo Scott Park campus and each year the attendance has grown, last year there were a reported 15,000 attendees over the two day event. We are eagerly anticipating the 10thAnnual African American Festival, which will be July 18-20, 2014, and we are preparing for an even larger crowd.
